Queens College, in partnership with City & State New York, the NAACP New York State Conference Metropolitan Council Queens, and WNET’s MetroFocus, will host the candidates for Queens Borough President in a debate, Building Queens County’s Future, on Monday, March 9, from 6 to 8 pm, in the college’s Student Union, fourth floor ballroom.
Invited candidates are City Councilman Costa Constantinides, former City Councilwoman Elizabeth Crowley, Chairman of the National Latino Officers Association and Retired NYPD Sergeant Anthony Miranda, former Queens Prosecutor James Quinn, City Councilman Donovan Richards, and Flushing businessman Dao Yin. Panelists are City & State Senior Reporter Jeff Coltin, President of the NAACP Jamaica Branch Candace Prince-Modeste, and Queens College Urban Studies Professor Alice Sardell.
